Cooling
Using the MJ-Tech fogging system as internal cooling allows the intensive livestock industry to cool in an optimal manner (without the animals getting wet).

Our special MJ-Tech nozzles ensure water is atomised at high pressure near the air inlet. The small fog droplets then evaporate in the air causing the effect of adiabatic cooling.






Pressfog

By using our own patented pressfog pipeline system we are capable of installing a project in a very short period of time. In addition, the pressfog system offers a guaranteed leak- proof installation immediately after assembly. The couplings have a nominal operating pressure of 120 bars and a burst pressure of 250 bars. All couplings, accessories and nozzles used in the system are manufactured out of stainless steel 316 and therefore suitable for practically any application. MJ-Tech is the only producer in the market who offers a five-year warranty on the piping system.

Technique

We continue to innovate. Not only by focusing on new markets and products, but also by applying the most modern techniques to come up with even better solutions.

A high-pressure pump compresses pure water through a special stainless steel nozzle, using a pressure of between 70 and 120 bars. The resulting fine fog does not end up on the surface but quickly evaporates into the air.

High-pressure atomisation allows you to control the humidity levels in the best possible way. The combination of heat and fine droplets creates evaporation. This evaporation extracts energy from the air, which results in a cooling effect.

All the atomized water evaporates in the greenhouse. This adiabetic cooling also ensures the CO2 remains longer in the greenhouse. This ensures cooling on an energy-efficient way, so your crops will feel more ‘comfortable’ in their environment.

MJ-Tech is the ultimate specialist in high-pressure fogsystems for greenhouses for already many years.

The essence of air-humidification is that evaporation causes cooling of the ambient air, which allows the grower to ventilate less. By wetting the greenhouse-air in sunny conditions, the evaporation will not exceed the water absorption of the plant. The result is that the plants are less likely to ‘experience stress’.

This occurs in a better absorption of CO2, which is necessary for the photosynthesis. Humidity is indicated in 2 terms: Relative air humidity and moisture deficit. The relative air humidity is the percentage of moisture in the air, for example 85%.

The moisture deficit is indicated in g/m3. The relative air humidity and moisture deficit usually change when the temperature changes. As the temperature rises, the air can contain more water vapor.

Humidity
Some products have, when stored, problems with maintaining moisture, with the loss of weight as result. Should this occur, your storage can be equipped with a circuit including special MJ-Tech nozzles, which will increase the humidity.

Controlled by a relative air humidity-measuring unit the desired level can be set up. If necessary also fans can support the system.

Dust control
A third specialism within the Industrial dept. is the control of dust. We use a circuit of piping next to- or around the place where the problem occurs.

A ‘curtain of fog’ ensures that the dust-particles bind with the water-particles, after which they gain weight. By gravity the tied parts will fall down to the surface.

Cooling

A central pump unit supplies the piping system in the livestock environment. This circuit of pipes is mounted above the air inlets or valves at the sides of the house.
The entire system is manufactured from stainless steel.

The system performs optimally under a pressure of 100 BARS / 1450 PSI. The pipework has been designed to cope with this pressure.

The MJ-Tech SPU-10 unit contains a high pressure pump which provides the pipes in the barn with the necessary pressure. The pump unit is equipped with 2 pre-pressure filters, with replaceable filter cartridges. The unit can be operated manually, but also via the climate computer. In addition, to control the pump unit with an internal pulse/pauze-timer.
